About Mrs. Hodges
My name is Allison Hodges, and I am thrilled to be your child's Kindergarten teacher!
I live in Charlotte, NC with my husband Daniel and our two rescue dogs, Lilah and Amelie. I enjoy cooking, reading, drinking coffee, antiquing, and taking trips to the Blue Ridge mountains in my spare time. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a BA in Elementary Education. This will be my first year teaching at Long Creek Elementary, and I am overjoyed to be joining this wonderful community. My heart is in teaching Kindergarten. The growth students make from the beginning of Kindergarten to the end is truly incredible, and I am honored to play a role in this stage of your child's life. I genuinely believe all students can learn. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is finding a way to meet all students' needs. I look forward to getting to know your child and discovering ways he or she learns best, in addition to working along with you to provide your child with a fantastic Kindergarten experience!
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected].
I will primarily check email from 7 am to 7 pm daily and will do my best to reply quickly, but please allow 24 hours for a response.
Thank you for your contributions to our class and your child's education!
